Spring Registration Begins March 11, 2008

Don't forget - Spring registration begins March 11 at 8:00 am!

There are several class and date changes this time. Please check here to see if any of your classes are affected.

· ERROR IN BROCHURE: “BEGINNING MICROSOFT WORD” is on THURSDAYS, April 3, 10, 17, 24, May 1, 8, not on Tuesdays as listed in the brochure (the dates in the brochure were correct).

· FIRST AID FOR SENIORS has been changed to Monday and Wednesday, April 28 and 30 (previously was April 7 and 9) due to instructor having to go out of town. Time remains the same (9-11 am).

· At the request of the instructor, WITNESS TO THE HOLOCAUST has been changed to “TOUR OF WORLD WAR II.” The date has been changed to Tuesday, May 13, from 10 am - 12 noon. The new description is: “A Georgia Public TV film interview of George Aigen’s experiences in WWII will be shown, followed by discussion and a Q & A period.”

· The YOGA class will not meet on April 8 due to an instructor conflict. The class will therefore only meet 4 times, on Tuesdays, April 15, 22, 29, and May 6 from 9:30-10:30 am.

· JOY OF TRAVELING has been changed to Friday, May 2 from 1-2:45 pm due to instructor conflict (previously was Monday, March 31). The topic will be SICILY.

· OPERA will start a week later and end a week later than listed in the brochure, due to an instructor conflict. The new dates are 3 Thursdays, April 17, 24, and May 1, from 10:30 am - 12 noon.

· WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP will meet 7 times, rather than twice as listed in the brochure. The dates will be 7 Thursdays, April 10, 17, 24, May 1, 8, 15, and 22, from 3-5 pm.

Parking for Water Aerobics Classes

If you are signed up for any of the 3 sections of Water Aerobics, please plan to arrive earlier than usual to make sure that you can find a parking spot. The lot behind the Student Recreation Center is closed due to construction of a new parking deck.

We suggest that you look for space in the Ed Center/PE Complex parking lot, directly across the street from the student recreation center. It is likely that some spaces will have opened up by 4:00 pm, which would allow you to get to the 4:30 class on time. If there are no spaces there, the other option would be to park at the Continuing Ed building (where the LIR office is located) and take the VSU shuttle bus to the rec center. The bus (blue line) runs every 15 minutes until 11:00 pm.
